Biography:

Mertopolis is an Egyptian band playing progressive Rock\Metal music, Specially Dream Theater tributes and other Bands like:

Rush, Symphony X, Opeth, Vinnie Moore and Ayreon. The band was created by Ahmed Ezz (Keyboard) from the beginning with his old friend Mohamed Darwish (Guitar), they had the same idea about combining all the progressive influences in one band and to share the unique progressive style with all rock and metal fans. Metropolis officially started after Ahmad Al Azzazy, Abdallah El Sayyad and Muhammad Faisal joined the band (2009).
