Biography:
The band started over three years ago when Mohamed Ali, Osama Saad and Amr Gioushy decided to combine their musical talents together to make music that's different, catchy and at the same time new and meaningful. This is reflected using Arabic lyrics that speak out the issues concerning the lives of today's youth, Salalem continues to do their best in improving and turning their musical ideas into songs that are excitedly welcomed by their audience.
Salalem's songs are mainly a mixture of different types of music, such as Latin, Flamenco, Egyptian or oriental, jazz, alternative, rock, country, etc…, fused with Arabic words that are not complicated and can reach people's ears easily and in a fine melodic cocktail.
"We always try to make our songs simple, easy and at the same time as musical as possible, to satisfy as many listeners as possible, and we also try to choose words that speak out the issues of today"
The band has appeared on national television a couple of times on channels like Nile Culture and Nile Variety. There were also a couple of appearances on Cable Television on the Egyptian Satellite channel and Dream 1 TV. Radio appearances include "The Middle Eastern Radio Broadcasting Company".
