Biography:
S.M.S band was established in 2008 by Noha Taha. S.M.S band performs Egyptian lyrics of controversial subjects with different types of music. The band plays Jazz, R & B, Alternative Rock, Latin as well as Oriental music. S.M.S band’s lyrics and music are composed by Noha Taha who’s also the lead vocalist of the band.
Noha Taha is a music composer, singer, and writer. She was born in Alexandria in 1984, is married and has been living in Cairo since 2004. She studied English, French, and Arabic literature along with music and has worked in many business fields such as tourism, marketing, sales, journalism and music.
She has also done some voluntary work such as for the rotary clubs. Noha has two bands: Scorpionism band, which is a tribute band for The Scorpions, and S.M.S band , which is a mixture between art and life experience.
