Sakia 9th Festival for Feature Films

Yearly contest in the form of an open contest for all institutions and individuals producing feature films

Festival Rules:

• Participation is open for all creatives
• Film submission must be on a DVD
• Production year starting 2010
• The film should not have been submitted previously in any of Culturewheel's feature film festial
• Maximum duration 45 minutes

Attache the following documents: 

• Registration form available at the reception at El Sawy Culturewheel or download here
• Definition for film work group
• Film brief and some photos from its scenes

Registration is open until the end of January 2012 at the reception of El Sawy Culturewheel from 9 AM to 9 PM

Participants will be invited to the prize announcement and distribution day in an event held at El Sawy Culturewheel premises where pioneers of the cinema, critics, media, academics and special art lovers. The event time will be announced later.

• First Prize: Golden Sakia

EGP 4000 + Shield + Certificate (for the director)

• Second Prize: Silver Sakia

EGP 3000  + Shield + Certificate (for the director)

• Third Prize: Bronze Sakia

EGP 2000 + Shield + Certificate (for the director)

• Fourth Prize: Judge Committee prizes
• Best Actor Prize (Appreciation Certificate)
• Best Actress Prize (Appreciation Certificate)
• Best Montage (EGP 500 + Appreciation Certificate)
• Best Shooting (EGP 500 + Appreciation Certificate)
• Best Scenario (EGP 500 + Appreciation Certificate)
